Tyson Fury alludes to the NEXT Dillian Whyte for him
Via Scott Gilfoid: In a huge hint that Tyson Fury will face Dillian Whyte next, ‘Gypsy King’ warned him he would be “destroyed” on Thursday ahead of Friday’s WBC order bid hey, January 28.
Boxing fans are sick of the suspense of all the drama with the possibility of stepping aside between Fury and Whyte and Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. They just want to end these wars and let the cards fall where they can.
Friday’s purse bids will be interesting to watch. Hearn will probably win it and stick with the Fury vs. Whyte in the Middle East in April. That’s great for Fury and Whyte’s returns, but it’s bad for boxing fans hoping to see it live and in person.
Tyson can’t wait to knock Dillian in the face
“I can’t wait to punch Whyte in the face,“Fury said Thursday to Sky. “I’ll give him the best cover-up he’s ever had. Whyte, train hard! Because you are being destroyed.
“Joshua and Eddie Hearn are the worst entrepreneurs in history — today they lost $90 million,” Fury said.
If Joshua isn’t good enough, which will most likely be the case, he will be spotted again by IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Usyk and forced to retire with his golden parachute final payday. .
This means Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) will defend his WBC heavyweight title against ‘Body Snatcher’ Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) in April.
It is believed that Anthony Joshua rejected the step-by-step deal that offered him off the road to a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk in order to let Fury join the fight.
Fury and Joshua can both lose
This could have both Joshua and Fury facing their loss, but oh well, that’s how it is. Fat-looking Fury has really aged a lot since his fight with Otto Wallin in 2019. What a shock how old, motionless and Fury watched Deontay Wilder exhausted during their three-part bout last October 9.
What did Fury do on EARTH for him to age so quickly? For the past two years, it’s been like dog years instead of human years with Fury’s aging. Gilfoid looks like Fury already rapid decline rate.
Whatever Fury is doing has aged him, he needs to stop. While there, he should step away from the kitchen table and give his food a rest.
If Whyte resembles the form he did in his rematch with 40-year-old Alexander Povetkin last March, he will give Fury a new back and rip his WBC strap during the night.
That version of Whyte will knock the daylight from old man Fury we saw last October against the talented 6’7″ Deontay. Some say Fury was saved from being knocked out with a long stretch in his second knock in the fourth round against Wilder.
AJ’s career may be over
Joshua’s chances of beating Usyk are VERY slim based on how he looked last September at Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium in London, England.
AJ truly believes he can win this fight by being more aggressive and using his size on Usyk. It’s an odd idea, but you have to let Joshua discover his own destiny, I guess.
Joshua lacks the fitness, doesn’t have the boxing IQ to beat a talent like Usyk, and he’ll be shown again when they meet. It would be a good lesson for Joshua and a real eye-opener for his promoter Eddie Hearn that he should be more assertive with him.
Joshua would be a good commentator. It will be a nice gig for him when his career ends with Usyk.
As for Hearn, he will have a huge void to fill once Joshua is gone. If he thinks Conor Benn will be Joshua’s replacement, he’s kidding himself because that guy will become royalty once Hearn stops labeling him with the old guys. Gilfoid is predicting it right now.
Once Benn is thrown deep into the match against Vergil Ortiz Jr, Jaron Ennis, or Keith Thurman, it’s all over.
