Tyson Fury has hinted he will retire after retaining his WBC heavyweight title and undefeated record with a devastating sixth-round knockout against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.
Fury, who has now won 32 and drawn one of his 33 rounds, knocked Whyte down with a stunning right headbutt in front of 94,000 fans in the capital.
The 33-year-old later said “I think so” when asked if he would have a rematch.
Fury tells BT Sport: “I promised my lovely wife Paris that after the third game against Deontay Wilder it would happen and I intend to.
“Then I was offered to fight at Wembley and I think I owe it to the fans, everyone in the UK, to come here and fight.
“Now that all is done, I must be a man of my word. I think this is it, it could be the final curtain for The Gypsy King and what a way to get out!”
Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, told BT Sport: “If it’s the last fight, then it will be the last. It’s his decision, he’s the one standing in the ring. If it’s his last fight, he’s been in the ring. play very high.”
Fury beat challenger Whyte before knocking him out, with referee Mark Lyson sending the fight off with just a second remaining in the sixth round.
However, the champion later paid tribute to Whyte and said he believes the Brixton-born fighter will one day win the world.

He added: “Dillian Whyte is a fighter and I believe he’s going to be world champion but tonight he met a great man in the sport, one of the great heavyweights. best of all time.
“There’s nothing to be ashamed of. He’s a tough guy, a gamer. He’s as strong as a bull and has the heart of a lion.
“But he’s not messing with a mediocre heavyweight. He’s messing with the best man on the planet.”
Of the punch that knocked Whyte down, Fury added: “Lennox Lewis would be proud of that.”
