Ukraine claims it shot down another Su-34 multirole bomber
The Ukrainian armed forces are said to have shot down another Sukhoi Su-34 ‘Fullback’ attack aircraft over the Chernihiv region.
The Sukhoi Su-34 is a modern Russian attack jet designed to replace the Soviet-era Su-24 ‘Fencer’ in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). It is equipped with 12 hardpoints to transport a variety of air-to-ground and air-to-ground weapons, including unguided, or ‘dumb’ weapons.
Photos of the wreckage of the Russian Air Force Su-34 have gone viral on social media.

A post on Facebook shared on March 16 shows the wreckage of a Russian Su-34 in the middle of a field.
On top of that, the visually confirmed losses of Russia’s newest Su-34 fighter-bomber (NATO reporting name: Fullback) now exceed 4 during the invasion of Ukraine. According to the observer below Oryx nickname, a full-back was shot down on March 1, two more were shot down on March 5 and one yesterday, March 6.
It is worth noting that the number of Russian planes shot down may be more, but there are currently no confirmed photos or videos of them.
