Ukraine to receive more PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers
The German Armed Forces announced on Monday that the Bundeswehr would support Ukraine by providing four more PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers and ammunition.
“Despite the difficult material situation, the Bundeswehr will support Ukraine by providing four more PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers with ammunition,” a statement posted by the German Defense Ministry on Twitter.
Christine Lambrecht said on Monday that 10 dynamometers supplied by Germany and 8 from the Netherlands “proved themselves in battle”.

“Ukraine is full of praise for the system and has expressed a desire for more artillery,” she said. “In order to further support Ukraine in its brave fight against Russia’s brutal attack, Germany will make this request.”
Lambrecht said that the Panzerhaubitze 2000 tank was recently refurbished.
The PzH 2000 is a self-propelled howitzer that is compatible with the NATO standard 155 mm ammunition. It entered service in 1998 and has an effective range of 54 km.
