Ukraine: Volunteers race for aid from the UK to the front lines
Volunteers are racing to deliver medical supplies from Britain to the Ukrainian front lines.
In two days, 1,000 miles and six countries, they transported trucks full of trauma kits, oxygen regulators and ultrasound machines a thousand miles east in just two days.
The convoy organized by the UK Medical Association Ukraine consisted of Ukrainian doctors and nurses working in the UK, who also donated money and shipped equipment back to their home countries.
Both the United Nations agency and the British government have delivered hundreds of tons of supplies to hospitals in Kyiv and other cities.
