Ukraine’s crowdfunding raises $10m in 24 hours to buy kamikaze drones
Nearly $10 million has been raised in 24 hours to purchase prowler munitions, commonly known as kamikaze drones, for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thousands of Ukrainians have joined together to buy a thousand advanced Kamikaze drones for the Ukrainian military after Russia coordinated missile strikes on civilian targets in cities across the country.
According to Serhiy Prytula, the organizer of the initiative, 50 Ram II drones originally designed and built by Ukrainian companies will be purchased with this money, along with three control stations.

The Ram II is a Ukrainian drone equipped with a 3kg explosive payload and designed to attack ground targets out of sight.
Based on Militarnyi, the kamikaze drone is traveling at up to 70 km/h. It searches for enemy objects on the ground using a camera capable of 10x magnification within a radius of up to 30 km from the launch pad and within 55 minutes. It is said that electronic warfare equipment can “obstruct” communications with the operator, but in this case the drone returned to base on its own and landed by parachute.
