Ukrainian Soldiers show off captured Russian anti-aircraft systems
The Ukrainian military flaunts the Russian short-range Tor and Strela-10 air defense systems captured after recapturing the territory around Kherson in the south.
New footage, which began circulating on social media earlier today, shows the Ukrainian military using an armored recovery vehicle to tow a Russian Tor-M2 9A331M surface-to-air missile system.
Tor-M2, known by NATO reporting name SA-15 Gauntlet, is a fully automated Russian surface-to-air missile (SAM) system manufactured by Almaz-Antey’s Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant. output, to provide effective air defense in jamming environments.

Russia is visually confirmed to have lost at least 20 Tor surface-to-air missile systems since Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine began on February 24.
In addition, the Ukrainian army captured the Strela-10 air defense missile system in the area of the village of Dudchany, located on the shores of the Kahovsky Reservoir.
Strela-10, known by NATO reporting name SA-13 Gopher, is a portable short-range surface-to-air missile system. The system is primarily aimed at attacking low-altitude threats, such as helicopters.
The SA-13 is based on the shell of the MT-LB multi-purpose crawler armored vehicle. The hull of the MT-LB is fully welded steel armor with the crew compartment at the front, the engine just behind the crew compartment on the left and the troop compartment at the rear of the hull.
