Updated Pegasus Invitation Released
Half a dozen horses have been added to the second list of invites for the GI Pegasus World Cup Invitational S. which will be held January 29 at Gulfstream Park.
Initial list participants, headed by Horse of the Year Knicks Go (Payer) and GI hero Breeders ‘Cup Dirt Mile and The life of ‘Rising Star TDN’ is very good (Into Mischief) recent winner of Tenacious S. Chess (City naughty); Not fear (Ghostzapper), final winner of GIII Harlan’s Holiday S.; Law professor (Organization), who defeated GII Santa Anita Mathis Mile S. December 26; Olympiad (Sightstown), an impressive Gulfstream allowance scorer on January 15; SW & MGISP Stilleto boy (Shackleford); and GSW Title is ready (More than ready).
Reserve in the second list includes American Theorem (American pharoah), Commander (Street boss), Certified (Medaglia d’Oro), Forewarned (Flat out) and Happy Americans (Runhappy).
Flavius (War front) was added to the field for the GI Pegasus World Cup Turf, led by the defending champions Colonel Liam (Map of Liam). Trained for Juddmonte Farms by 7-year-old Chad Brown, bought for $230,000 at Keeneland last November Sale, is a three-time winner, including Fasig-Tipton Lure S. in Saratoga last year. Flavius replaces GI Arlington Million winner Two Emmys (English channel) in the original list.
Reserve in the second list is Redemption (Into naughty), Bob and Jackie (Spinning candy), English Bee (English Channel) and Law professor (Organization).
