#1 Never Forget – Riding by Robby Albrado and coached by Victoria Oliver. Twice starting back, she easily broke her maidenhood, and they immediately threw her at the Eight Belles Grade 2 stake at Churchill. She ran 3rank defeated by four lengths in a respectable performance. However, she was no match for the Four Graces in that race, and I hope this is the same. There’s a lot of speed here and she’ll come from speed so there’s a 3 chance of finishingrank
again, but that’s the ceiling here.
#2 The Four Graces – Riding by Julien Leparoux and trained by Ian Wilkes. This chubby guy has 4 wins in 6 starts, but was last beaten 2 in Eight Belles at Churchill. She likes to run straight ahead, but last time she was challenged for the whole race and gave up. A similar situation can happen here as this race has quite a bit of speed. She certainly shouldn’t be fired, but I’d rather be looking for a slow horse in this race.
#3 Secondary Market – Riding by Tyler Gaffalione and trained by Chad Brown. This is an attractive horse at a good price. In September 2019, she looked very impressive when she broke her virginity, but then she had to take 330 days off work. She won her first start after that layoff, and then ran in 2nd Priority. She finished 4order in Prioress, but had a rough ride. She showed the ability to be able to go over the speed and make a run that would be very dangerous in this race. She is the one to follow.

#4 Finite –
Riding by Ricardo Santana Jr and coached by Steve Asmussen. Finite is a very impressive game. During the winter, she beat British Idiom and Preakness Stakes winner Swiss Skydiver. If she runs back to that race with the field she is the winner. With that said, all of her best races have been a mile or so. Last time out she completed 11order of 11, but it’s a 6-month layoff so there’s a built-in reason there. The dismissal was due to ankle surgery and the first race after that was really bad so I’m taking a wait and see approach.
#5 Port of Venice – Riding by Manuel Franco and coached by Richie Baltas. This will be a favorite at the time of posting, and deserves it. Venetian Harbor has lost to the world’s top athletes such as Gamine, Speech and Swiss Skydiver. She defeated quite a few other scumbags besides those 3. This is another horse that will be prompted to go straight ahead and can set up a great speed showdown with #2 Four Graces. She is a very reasonable candidate and should absolutely be considered. In her 6 career starts, she hasn’t finished worse than 2rank
not yet.
#6 Reagan’s Edge – Horseed by Florent Geroux and trained by Cherie Devaux. She has been impressive so far in her short 5 races. Unfinished is worse than 3rank
not yet, and came back 2rank finish in graded bet races. She can’t seem to beat Franks Rockette, but the good news here is that Franks Rockette isn’t in this race. Florent Geroux should let this dirty chair fit at a rate that would be ideal and would keep things interesting in the long run. She should be a factor in the final stages of this race.
#7 Tonalist Shape – Riding by Rafael Bejarano and trained by Saffie Joseph. Had a very promising start to his career winning 5 of the first 6 races including a graded bet pair. Since being fired, though she has clearly been less impressed. She failed both favorites and ran badly both times. It looks like she’s on the wrong track, and I’ll let this go, but if she gets her form back, she’ll be in danger at a heavy cost.
#8 Fair Girl – Riding by Corey Lanerie and trained by Eoin Harty. She is a very interesting long shot in this race. They had high expectations for her when they played her in the Breeders’ Cup minors, and she took the lead. They put her off work for 323 days, and she came back and won that race as a prep for this race. If she can break out well and don’t sprint early then she has a huge chance at great cost, but the scary thing is she gets sprinted very early and can’t make up for it. get the required points. time. She could be one of the long-term opportunities with.
#9 Grand Cru Rank – Riding by Martin Garcia and trained by William Mott. She certainly hasn’t done anything wrong. She has 3 starts and 3 wins. All of those races were against much weaker opponents, and this is clearly a big step up in the ranking. Shortening the distance helps a lot, because when she won at 1/16 mile, she was very tired on that stretch, but managed to win. She will be right near the front along with quite a few others, and she will be very wide. It will be interesting to see what trip Martin Garcia can make.
#10 Secret Keepers – Riding by Brian Hernandez and coached by Cliff Sise. Last time had a great performance in class and did not let me down. She ran 2rank in 3rd grade Torrey Pines at Del Mar. She is a light runner and has enough traction to get a good stalking position against these front runners. She is so attractive. There are many horses in this race all trying to achieve the same kind of ride. It really feels like a price horse that is going to leapfrog and land a big win. Could be this.
Final analysis: Although the Venetian Harbor is loved by many, this race is a complete one. There are a lot of speed horses, and a lot of horses will stalk while running slowly. What will be important will be which horses get the ride from the leaders. There are about 5 or 6 horses that can compete for the same ride. I will shoot and try to beat the big favorite here.
