Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu Tries Millet Idlis at Visakhapatnam
Idli is a South Indian staple that has become a breakfast favorite. Not only is it incredibly healthy and delicious, but it’s also made in the blink of an eye. Simply take regular rice flour and steam in a regular mold for a few minutes to prepare soft and fluffy Idlis, which can be combined with chutney, Sambhar or even the like. There are many variations and versions of Idli – from Oats Idli to Rava Idli and more. Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu recently took to Twitter to share his experience of trying Millet Idlis – a healthy version of Idli which he highly recommends. Check out his tweet:

“Had a hearty breakfast of millet idlis today at the stall ‘Vasena Poli’ run by a young agribusiness entrepreneur Chittem Sudheer in Visakhapatnam,” the official in charge of the Vice President’s secretariat read the tweet. . A few pictures of Idlis were also shared in the tweet. Delicious millet idlis steamed in banana leaves and paired with two different coconut chutneys.
Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu praised the healthy breakfast prepared by the young businessman. “With a rich flavor and aroma, such millet-based foods provide an organic and healthy alternative to our diets,” he added in his tweet. He also wrote in the same thread, “Such innovative efforts by our youth to return to our traditional diets and lifestyles are commendable.”
Twitter users also enjoyed seeing the Vice President’s healthy breakfast. Many of them want to taste the delicious Millet Idlis for themselves. Others want him to encourage more entrepreneurs who are working towards providing healthy food and preserving traditional recipes.
