Victoria Beckham reveals David Beckham waiting in line to see Queen Elizabeth’s coffin
Queen Elizabeth II’s death has caused national sadness with thousands lining up outside Westminster Abbey as she lay in state in front of her National mourning. Among the former public was England Football captain David Beckham, who created quite a stir when he joined others in queuing and waiting more than 13 hours to pay their respects to t.he’s queen.
Revealing that her husband is waiting in line Queen Elizabeth is in a state, says Victoria Beckham Today that David “Feeling very humbled by the experience”.
“That’s what he really wanted to do. And he’s very happy that he did. He said the experience was something he even struggled to express. It means a lot to him,” she said.
She also revealed that David has met some “great people” in the queue and how he interacts with them. “He was in line for 14 hours. He says he’s met some really great people. He bought all of them donuts. He said, ‘I’ve met some wonderful, wonderful people,’ and he’s so happy he did. “
“This day will always be difficult, and difficult for the country, difficult for everyone around the world because I think everyone is feeling it, and our thoughts are with the family. and obviously to everyone here today. Because it’s special to be here, to celebrate and hear the different stories people have to tell,” he said. ITV News.
Beckham, who joined the line at 2am finally got inside Westminster around 3:20pm. “I thought when I arrived at 2 a.m. things would be a little quieter – I was wrong,” he said.

David also posted a message of condolence after The Queen’s Funeral. “Our queen has gone home… Today we said our final goodbyes to Her Majesty the Queen. This week, the world mourned the passing of a unique, inspiring and caring leader. Thousands of people from all walks of life have gathered together to express their gratitude to our beloved Queen,” he wrote.
Beckham added, “Along with incredible ritual and tradition, we have witnessed a loving family grieve for a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with dignity and devotion. Her legacy of service and devotion to duty will live on… Long live the king. “
