Shares of the financially stressed telecom company Vodafone Idea fell more than 5% in early trading on Monday after the company reported increasing consolidated loss to Rs 7,230 in the December quarter of the fiscal year. present.
Its shares rose 5.46% to Rs 11.25 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
At the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it fell 5.06% to Rs 11.25.
Vodafone Idea announced its third-quarter results on Friday, January 21, after the meeting.
The company posted a loss of Rs 4,532.1 crore in the same period last year.
Consolidated revenue from operating activities fell 10.8% to Rs 9,717.3, from Rs 10,894.1 in the same period a year earlier.
Its subscriber base fell to 24.72 crore, from 26.98 crore in the same quarter a year ago, due to the company’s tax hike.
