Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle used this year’s massive Caravan Camping Supershow to reveal Jayco’s new Crafter Kampervan.
Volkswagen Australia partnered with local entertainment vehicle manufacturer, Jayco, to create the ultimate Campervan to go anywhere with all the usual amenities you might expect to find in your Airbnb.
The Crafter Kampervan will be sold exclusively through Volkswagen dealers and is covered by a 5-year, unlimited-km warranty.
After two years of construction, including extensive product testing at the Anglesea Proving Ground in Victoria, the Volkswagen Crafter Kampervan becomes the new halo car in the Volkswagen range that includes Caddy California and Multivan California.
At 6.8 meters long and two meters wide, it is also the largest vehicle in VW’s lineup.
From July, this unique version of the LWB 4Motion Crafter will be available in three variants: called the Kampervan, Kampervan Style and the all-terrain Kampervan, the latter with dedicated Seikel off-road components such as the 30mm lifter.
