For example, when we’re at a giant fast food joint, it’s hard to resist the smell of freshly cooked French fries. The fragrance was introduced as a limited edition collection for Valentine’s Day by the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC). Called the ‘Frites of Idaho’, it is said to be an alluring fragrance inspired by the irresistible scent of French Fries. The launch of the unique fragrance also coincides with National Potato Lovers Month. “Uniquely crafted from a blend of essential oils and distilled Idaho Potatoes, this fragrance will recall memories of the flavorful days gone by,” reads the caption for the post. The 50ml bottle is on sale for just Rs. 142.
According to a statement on the IPC’s website, a survey was conducted before Pollfish launched the product. It shows that nearly 90% of Americans find the smell of French Fries irresistible. Jamey Higham, President and CEO, explains, “Whether you’re driving past a restaurant or out to eat, you can’t help grabbing a lamb and grabbing a bite before starting your meal. IPC.” This perfume is a great gift for anyone who can’t say no to a French lamb.”
