Music by Warner Chappell (WCM) announced Monday (April 15) an exclusive publishing deal with Electronic Arts (EA) to curate music across the gaming giant's vast library.
This partnership includes soundtracks from world-famous titles such as EA Sports' sports simulation game to action-adventure experiences, role-playing, etc. The deal also involves WCM leveraging utilize its roster of songwriters and producers to collaborate on new music projects with EA.
EA develops and publishes games, content and online services for consoles, mobile devices and PC. The company behind famous games such as EA SPORTS FC, Battlefield, Top Legend, The Sim, EA SPORTS Crazy NFL, Demand because Speed, Titanfall, Plants compared to Zombies And EA SPORTS F1.
During fiscal year 2023 ending March 31, 2023, EA created 7.4 billion USD in GAAP net revenue, increased 6% from a year earlier. For fiscal 2024, the company expects to record approx 7.4 billion USD ARRIVE 7.7 billion USD in terms of net revenue, according to the third quarter financial report release January 30.

The partnership with EA comes almost four years later Warner Music Group announced the plan gain IMGN Communications, a media company that creates shareable social media content including memes and short videos. Electronic Arts is one of IMGN's commercial partners.
