Warner Music Group launches new Brazil HQ and creative hub in Rio de Janeiro

Warner Music Group has launched a new headquarters and creative hub in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The new hub brings the operations of Warner Music Brazil, Warner Chappell Music Brazil, and ADA Brazil under the same roof.

Dubbed ‘Warner Music Space’ the new Brazil HQ includes various creative areas, including studios, lounges, workstations, an acoustic performance stage, and an event arena.

Warner’s new Brazil HQ is situated in the Barra da Tijuca area of Rio de Janeiro.

The hub covers 2,000 square meters and accommodates up to 300 people.

The space was built by Brazil-based construction firm Athié|Wohnrath over eight months and according to WMG, “captures the essence of contemporary music creation and consumption trends in Brazil and worldwide”.

Warner’s new building features four recording studios, including a studio dedicated to short content production.

WMG’s new HQ in Brazil follows the company’s newly opened creative spaces in Germany and Spain.

In September 2023, Warner Music Group (WMG), through its subsidiaries Warner Music Central Europe and Warner Chappell Music Germany, opened a new creative hub in Berlin in the historic 19th-century Schicklerhaus building.

In May 2022, Warner Music Spain and Warner Chappell Music launched a new and creative hub in Madrid called The Music Station.

The space in Madrid is spread across 10,000 square meters and houses Warner Music Spain, WMG’s local recorded music company, and Warner Chappell Music Spain.
