This active indifference of the enemy, through NotPetya, has had devastating and destructive effects on the expansion of our supply chain and our business globally. We just expect in 2022 that we’re prepared for more, but the potential impact of more is unacceptable, and if the stock we claim to serve is disrupted, That would be a terrible failure of our ability to work together.
Since before the turn of the year, experts from the cybersecurity community, government and private sector, have been monitoring and uncovering website surfacing, denial of service attacks, disinformation campaigns and the association of Ukrainian systems with malware can cripple the system. And in recent weeks, those consequences have been realized.
All this serves to disrupt. And all of this poses the very real potential to cross digital boundaries and cause harm.
