Watch: Virat Kohli shares best and worst eating moments while touring new restaurant
Former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has won numerous awards on the field and his passion for the sport has shone through his performance. But it’s not just cricket that Virat Kohli loves. Obviously, he’s also very passionate about food and that makes him one of our favorite celebrities. His love for food drove him to open his own chain of restaurants ‘One8 Commune’ and it is going viral these days as it has just opened a new outpost in Juhu, Mumbai. In a YouTube video, Virat Kohli gives a virtual tour of the restaurant and shares her personal dining experience!
What’s really special about the restaurant is that it’s tucked away in the old wooden house of the late singer Kishore Kumar, named Gauri Kunj. While chatting with actor/presenter Maniesh Paul, Virat Kohli revealed that he really admires Kishore Kumar and always wanted to meet him.

While touring the new restaurant, Viral Kohli shared her excitement about the project. “I’m not going to follow anything if I can’t join. If I’m affiliated with something, I need to join. You’ve invested your time and your part. I want to do the thing. We have always focused on many things, especially food.”
We’ve all had some good and bad food experiences, and Virat Kohli has had them too. In the video, he shared his best and worst eating moments. “I went to Paris recently, it was my worst. For vegetarians it was a nightmare, language barrier and not many options.” Continuing his best eating moment, he said, “The best part was when I actually went to Bhutan. Organically grown, their local vegetables, their wild rice. They call it a human farm. Bhutan. The concept is that they have little huts and you climb up the stairs and they grow vegetables right below. So they pick organic vegetables, we eat them at their house and it’s a good meal. best. ”
More than enough about himself, Virat Kohli went on to reveal the name of an Indian cricketer whose eating habits baffle him. That is Wriddhiman Saha. “If I see anyone trying a unique combination while eating, it’s Wriddhiman Saha. I’ve noticed his plate has butter chicken, roti, salad and even rasgulla. I once saw it. he eats ice cream with chawal dal. He eats them together.”
