Where Do You Like To Eat On Vacation? Twitter users discuss in viral thread
When it comes to travel and vacations, everyone has their own preferences. Some like to keep it light and relaxed, while others choose to explore and adventure. One type of tourist prefers to stay at a luxury resort, while others may prefer camping or staying at a homestay. Even holiday eating preferences are quite different for many people as we noticed in a recent Twitter thread. One user shared what ‘rules’ she follows while on vacation, and the rules about where to eat really work for users. Watch:

The Twitter user explained that she wants to spend more on hotels and also wants to explore local restaurants and cuisine, instead of going to fast food joints that she might try in her hometown. “My two biggest holiday rules are no cheap hotels and no eating out where we can eat at home,” @xqueenc_ wrote in his tweet. The post went viral quickly, receiving over 146k likes and 22k retweets at the time of writing.
The viral tweet about where to eat on vacation is a much-discussed topic online. Some people feel that it is a great idea that will motivate us to spend money on local food outlets and explore the cuisine of the country they are traveling to. Others argue that the regional menus of global fast food chains such as KFC and McDonald’s may differ from country to country. “Burger king Korea has things on the menu that I didn’t even know were possible,” commented one user while another agreed, “I used to have that 2nd rule until I discovered every country makes every fast food WAY better than us!”

Good rules!! But I’ll say: I’ve been to a Taco Bell in the UK and a McDonald’s in Denmark (unnecessarily) and they’re so unfamiliar, I don’t even think that’s where you can go at home???? I LOST at Copenhagen McDonald’s.— Glass of Olives (@glassolivesfw) July 21, 2022
I have the same rule!! My family is a little annoyed when I make them try a new restaurant every meal, every day. ???????? – Alissa (@Only_one_thomas) July 21, 2022
