If White Lotus season 2 finale leaves you hanging, fret not: HBO pre-booked Travel at a luxury hotel (aka: renewal season 3). And while creator Mike White hasn’t said yet much As for what he envisions for the third season, it seems once again to involve an entirely different continent.
In addition to the goal of “more” White Lotus,” White has said that he thinks the season will revolve around a core theme in the same way that the first two seasons did.
“The first season was the standout money, and then the second season was sex,” White said in the HBO episode’s intro for the finale. “I think the third season will probably be a satirical and humorous look at death as well as Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to make another round at White Lotus.”

There’s not much to go on, but death certainly seems like an appropriate topic after the end of season 2, which saw fan favorite Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) die – at the hands of assassins her husband hired, and also her own. try to drop down skiff during her escape.
