Whoopi Goldberg reacts to Barbara Corcoran’s apology | News
On October 8, the episode of To watch, Shark tankBarbara Corcoran’s made a derogatory comment about Whoopi Goldberghas spread. Corcoran quickly apologized and now Goldberg is reacting.
While outside To watch studio, TMZ caught up with Goldberg and asked if she was offended by Corcoran. Goldberg said she wasn’t, and said of Corcoran’s apology, “She didn’t have to – you know, this is the woman who threw her birthday party away to get in the coffin. So, Barbara was always funny and weird,” Goldberg continued. “And that’s who she is. And no, it takes much more to offend me.”
She also added, “I’ve known her for so long. We’ve known each other for 25 years.”
In case you missed, Corcoran, 72, is talking about Emma Grede, founder and CEO of denim brand Good American, who will be the first black female shark guest on Shark Tank. Sunny Hostin is raving about her jeans, and Goldberg jokingly adds, “Well, I have to try them on. Will they fit this COVID?” [butt]? “
Corcoran jumped in with, “When you finish those jeans and decide you don’t like them, give them to me. I’ll make two pairs.”
Without missing a beat, co-host Ana Navarro responded, “Oh man, let me tell you something. Both Sara Haines and Jill Biden have worn that dress, on TV!”
After being criticized on social media, Corcoran issued an apology in the following video: “I just got back from The View and saw my old friend Whoopi again. She has an extraordinary sense of humor and I was I’ve known Whoopi for years. I’ve been joking at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize isn’t funny at all. To anyone I may have unintentionally offended, I just wanted to say that I I’m really sorry.”
