Wolves sign Matheus Cunha on loan from Atletico Madrid
The Wanderer Wolverhampton Signed Brazil ahead Matheus Cunha on loan from LaLiga Atlético Madridboth clubs said on Sunday.
Cunha will join Wolves from January 1 under a deal that could become a permanent deal until 2027 if certain terms are activated, The werewolf said.

“We have found another gift under the tree,” the Premier League side wrote on Twitter, announcing the 23-year-old as Julen Lopetegui’s first signing as Wolves head coach.

Cunha joined Atletico in August 2021 and scored six goals in 40 LaLiga appearances. He is used mainly as a substitute.
Before that, he played in the German Bundesliga, where he was with RB Leipzig from 2018 to 2020, followed by a season at Hertha Berlin.
Cunha made his Brazil debut in September 2021, in a 1-0 World Cup qualifier before chile. A month earlier, he had won gold with the Brazil U23 team at the Tokyo Olympics.
