World of Warcraftthe current expansion of, dragon flight, is going down. While we know what's coming next — we're moving forward with three expansions collectively Soul world saga — the Blizzard team is having fun with some much more experimental and unique patches. This includes: Plunderstorm, a pirate-themed battle royale gameAnd now a remix of Mist of Pandaria expansion.
Blizzard has re-released expansions before; The game's first few expansions have all been relaunched on the Classic servers. This Mist of Pandaria Remix will be available on existing servers, with faster leveling. Players will have to create a new character to experience Remix, but the loot system has been changed significantly, with new and wild effects. There's more loot, available from almost every activity on Pandaria, and it has powerful effects like the ability to create a storm, transform into a ball of pure lightning, or create powerful shields .
Although players must create all new characters, they will be able to keep all the transmogrification items they collect. Transmog allows players to write on their devices to get a visual look of past collections, and this form of dolly makeup is very popular with fans. While Pandaria's progress won't carry over to The War Within expansions, cosmetic items are a way to remember those achievements fondly. And if players don't want to loot, they'll be able to exchange it for Bronze, a new currency for toys, mounts, and cosmetics.
As someone who missed the original run of the Mist of Pandaria but never found the time to commit Classic, I'm excited to take another spin through the beautiful land of Pandaria and collect some fun toys along the way. There's no release date yet for the Remix, but we can expect it to launch before the next expansion The War Within.
