World record swimming pool for British, Irish Racing
British and Irish racing will take part in 17 World Pool events in 2022 with racing fans from around the world betting on the sport’s most prestigious flat-racing festivals. Race days have a record prize pool of £28.4m and include Cazoo Oaks’ First Day at Epsom Downs. A partnership of global Totes, World Pool allows racing fans from around the globe to bet on a single pool. A World Pool “Moment of the Day” will be awarded by an industry representative at 16 World Pool days prior to British Championship Day, with the timing decided by a standout performance. At the end of the season, the 16 “Moment of the Day” winners at World Pool events will compete for the overall “Moment of the Year”, which will be featured on British Champions Day. The winner will be determined by a combination of scores obtained from the public vote and the industry panel. The custodian of the winning yard will be awarded World Pool Moment of the Year and receive £34,000.
