You still have 10 game releases to look forward to this year
Medieval fantasy game Black tail, Krakow-based studio debuts The Parasight, which lets you play as the young Baba Yaga folktale witch carrying a bow and arrow. You command her fate, if she’s a good witch or a bad witch, it’s up to you to navigate the dangerous, magical forest she roams in.
“When vivid memories of her past return as walking, stinking spirits,” Black tailSay’s website. “Yaga has no choice but to hunt them down in hopes of unraveling her own mystery.”
I am very excited Black tailits premise—I was once a child with vivid imaginary memories of Baba Yaga’s bony hand and the dilapidated wooden house in the woods. Although, I am a small annoyed that Yaga’s voice actress sounded British even though the character grew up isolated from everyone except the early Belarusians. I hope the game’s story is so legendary and engaging that I get distracted by the Anglo-Saxon incursion.
