YouTube down for thousands of users: Report
According to crash tracking website Downdetector.com, Alphabet Inc’s YouTube was down for thousands of users on Tuesday.
Downdetector, which shows more than 19,000 incidents of people reporting issues to YouTube, tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform .
YouTube did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
A major outage disrupted Amazon’s cloud services for several hours last week, leaving Netflix, Disney+, Robinhood and a host of other services inaccessible, including the web. Amazon’s e-commerce.
YouTube has experienced 65 outages in the past 12 months, according to web tool review site ToolTester.
