In the Main Event, WBO No. 1 Super Middle rating Zach Parker, 22-1 (15), #167 ¼, in Woodville, Derbyshire, UK, blocked by WBA No. 1 men’s rating John Ryder, 32-5 (18), #167, of Islington, London, UK, after four rounds due to right hand injury in 12 scheduled rounds.
Halfway through the second round, Parker continued to switch from the main swing to the south, dropping a pair of right hooks into Ryder’s chin. In the third round, Ryder started roughing Parker, swishing him around.
In the fourth round, after a minute of fighting, referee Howard Foster warned both fighters about rough tactics. Parker is a southbound when it comes to using his jab for most of the match. Ryder is clearly stronger than Parker and gets the best of him while inside.
At the end of the round, Parker’s corner stood up, not answering the bell claiming that Parker’s right hand was injured, although it appeared to be fine. The referee is Howard Foster.
The referees twice set the score 39-37 and 38-38 for Parker after four innings. This writer had it 39-37 Ryder. That’s for the WBO interim world title and for Ryder’s chance to meet world champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez in 2023.
Middle Hamzah Sheeraz, 17-0 (13), #159 ¼, of Ilford, UK, stop River Wilson-Bent, 13-2-1 (6), #159 , of Coventry, UK, at 2 :55 of second for the vacant WBC Silver title, out of 12.
In the second half, Wilson-Bent let Sheeraz cover well in the first minute. In the ninth inning, O’Leary let Mungandjela stand but managed to hold out and get through the round.

Cruiserweight Tommy “The Norfolk Nightmare” Fletcher, 3-0 (3), #201, of Thetford, Norfolk, UK, beat Jiri Krejci, 1-3 (0), #197 ½, of Knezeves, CZ, score 2:19 of the first round of schedule 4.
In the first half, Fletcher got his way and at the last minute, turning south, sent a left headbutt into Krejci’s chin, knocking him out as referee Marcus McDowell didn’t bother to count.
