2024 Ram 1500 TRX Final Edition priced in Australia
The Ram 1500 TRX is being broken up with one Final editionis currently on sale in Australia as the V8-powered pick-up's limited-edition swan song.
Its arrival in Australia came eight months later Ram 1500 Final version of TRX America launchedand just a day later its twin-turbocharged six-cylinder successor in 1500 RHO revealed.
Price from $249,950 before on-road costsThe final version is $25,000 more than the TRX on which it's based, although all 130 Australian-delivered models feature additional and unique equipment over the already-existing pick-up.
This includes 18-inch beadlock wheels finished in Satin Titanium, with a color line running across the bonnet and rear door badge.
There are three Final Edition exclusive colors available to choose from – Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue and Harvest Sunrise.
Inside, the TRX Final Edition features Patina stitching on the dashboard and seats, there is also an embroidered TRX logo on the seatbacks, as well as door inserts in Triaxle suede and matte carbon fiber on the dashboard, doors, dashboard and steering wheel.
The TRX's center console now features a badge displaying the build number, while the badge on the passenger side console is also finished in Satin Titanium.
When the ignition is turned on, the Ram 1500 TRX Final Edition's digital instrument cluster displays a unique screen, available only on the final pick-up.
Under the skin, there are no changes to the 6.2-litre turbocharged V8 petrol engine, which continues to produce 523kW of power and 882Nm of torque.
The engine is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4-wheel drive system, allowing the 3-ton pickup truck to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds.
Ram Trucks Australia is yet to confirm whether the Ram 1500 RHO will arrive in local showrooms.
