781 Omicron cases, the most in Delhi with 238 cases, 44% increase in daily COVID-19 cases

The total number of highly transmissible coronavirus variants Omicron has reached 781 in India. Variations of concern that first discovered in South Africa in November has now spread to 21 states in the country.
Delhi has the highest number of Omicrons with 238 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 167 cases.
