Chelsea vs Al Jazira, Auckland City or Al Hilal
European Champion Chelsea will face UAE Pro League’s Al Jazira, New Zealand’s Auckland City FC or AFC Champions League winner Al Hilal in next year’s FIFA Club World Cup semi-final following Monday’s draw.
In the other semi-final, Copa Libertadores hosts Palmeiras will face the winner of a match between African Champions League champions Al Ahly and CONCACAF Champions League champions Monterrey.

The tournament will be held from 3 to 12 February next year.
Last year, FIFA selected Japan to host the traditional seven-club tournament after the 24-team expansion event originally held in China in June 2021 was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic- 19.
However, the COVID-19 situation in Japan has caused the country to withdraw as host. Football’s global body moved the event to the United Arab Emirates, which hosted the tournament in 2009, 2010, 2017 and 2018.
The annual event brings together champions from six football federations around the world along with league champions from the host nation.
