4 students stabbed outside Delhi school after taking 10th standardized exam
New Delhi:
Four standard 10th grade students were stabbed outside their school in East Delhi today, in a knife attack that left teenagers seriously injured, police said.
Having just completed their 10th standardized exam at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, located in Mayur Vihar area, East Delhi, students were walking out of the school campus when they were attacked by a group of boys, one of whom was a knife.
In the chaos that followed outside the government school, cries of pain were heard from the mother of one of the students injured in the stabbing, as police arrived at the scene.
Four 10th graders have been identified as Gautam, Rehan, Faizan and Ayush. After the incident, they were taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in Delhi.
Further investigation into the knife attack is currently underway.
