Alize Johnson tests positive for coronavirus, becoming 10th Chicago Bulls player in protocol
Chicago Bulls front Alize Johnson tested positive for COVID-19 and participated in tournament protocols, a source told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Johnson becomes the 10th Chicago player to join the protocols, potentially jeopardizing the state of Tuesday’s Bulls game against Detroit Pistons.
The Bulls have eight active players as of Monday morning, which is the NBA’s minimum requirement to play a game.
Johnson joins Zach LaVine, Troy Brown Jr., DeMar DeRozan, White Coby, Javonte Green, Matt Thomas, Derrick Jones Jr., Ayo Dosunmu and Stanley Johnson like the players who have been eliminated right now.
Bulls broadcasters Stacey King and Bill Wennington are also at home in isolation due to league protocols.
Players participating in health and safety protocols must quarantine for 10 days or until they return two negative PCR tests within 24 hours.
