My meal at Aangan Reloaded started with a favorite – Gol Gappa pictures filled with spicy potatoes and soft drinks. The first two we tasted were Hara Bhara Kebab and murgh tikka – both grilled meats are quite scrumptious and the right way to start a culinary adventure. Followed by chaap tazdar and lehsuni jheenga. Pieces of chaap were marinated in curd with just enough spices to excite our taste buds. Lehsuni jheenga is a delightful dish – if you like shrimp I would say give this one a try. For those who like more kebabs on their table before moving on to the main course, we recommend trying the bhutte ke kebab, kesari paneer tikka and the Amritsari machi.

For main course, I choose some classics like nalli nihari, murgh khurchan, baingan bharta Amritsari, murgh tikka makhani, paneer lababdar and dal makhani, of course. All these dishes are perfect for those who love typical North Indian food. Among all these main dishes, dal makhani, baingan bharta Amritsari and makhani murgh tikka stand out and are excellent dishes.

If you visit Aangan, there’s no way you can skip their desserts. Their dessert menu includes delicious phirni, kesari rasmalai, mango kulfi, anjeer kulfi, kesari kulfi et al. I chose phirnbi and kesari rasmalai. And it’s worth a try because creamy chenna dipped in kesari flavored milk is absolutely delightful.
