An Indian Military colonel, his spouse and son, and a minimum of three different troopers have been killed by terrorists in an ambush in Manipur, within the deadliest assault within the area in years.
In response to stories, the incident came about close to the Myanmar border in Churachandpur district of Manipur round 10 am on Saturday.
A convoy of the Assam Rifles was ambushed by an unknown group of terrorists, sources mentioned.
