Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition in Australia in 2023
Bentley has unveiled a new limited edition of its Bentayga plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV “with a focus on sustainability”.
The Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition is limited to 70 examples worldwide. Australian customers will be able to ask their preferred dealer in February next year, with the first customer cars arriving in the third quarter of 2023.
The limited edition is inspired by the 2019 EXP 100 GT concept and features a variety of “eco-friendly” materials inside the cabin.
These materials include vented Koa veneer on the center console, additional Piano Linen veneer and tweed panels made from 100% British fleece.
The interior is accented by a three-tone combination including Linen main leather and a choice of five sub-tones – Burnt Oak, Porpoise, Cricketball, Brunel or Beluga.
The Bentayga Odyssean Edition can be specified as four or five seats and has the so-called Front Seat Comfort Specification as standard, offering up to 22 ways of adjustment plus heating and ventilation.
The exterior of the Bentayga Odyssean Edition features Pale Brodgar paint accents on 22-inch 10-spoke wheels, front and rear bumpers, headlight and taillight rims, and chrome lower body.
There are six colors Bentley has chosen to harmonize with Pale Brodgar accents, but you can also choose from the full Bentley palette of over 60 colors.
Like Update Bentayga HybridBentayga Odyssean Edition is powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6 petrol enginemated with a 100kW / 400Nm . Electric Motor Generator.
The total output of the system is 340kW power and 700Nm of torque. Bentley claims it can sprint 0-60mph (0-97km/h) in 5.1 seconds and you’ll hit 254km/h.
Only one 18.0kWh . lithium-ion battery packThe Bentayga has a power strip that is claimed to be 43km on tighter WLTP cycles.
As previously reported, Bentley plans to offer only PHEVs and electric vehicles by 2026, as it prepares to go fully electric by 2030.
The British carmaker has also committed to disclosure first electric vehicle (EV) by 2025 and bring it to market in 2026.
Reports abroad say the first EV will be an SUV, potentially a version of the next Bentayga or possibly an entirely new nameplate.
It can be built on top of the PPE that will be the foundation for Porsche Macan EV, Audi Q6 e-tronand Audi A6 e-tron.
