“Gennadiy always starts slow, but remember two things too. First, he hasn’t boxed in over four hundred days. Second, he went to the guy’s backyard to fight him. He started off slow, a little bit beat up, he went through gears and knocked that guy down and unified the division.
“Is Gennadiy as fresh as the old days? Maybe not, but he’s dangerous. I think he would be well-suited to gaining 168 pounds since he’s already made 160 for a huge portion of his life.
“I think it will be really interesting if Canelo Alvarez can beat Bivol next week to make the trio fight at 168. That’s right,” Hearn said when asked if the match between Canelo and Golovkin III will come at 168. or not.
