BMW car finally introduce M3 Touring and it can recover M5 Travelalso.
Bimmerpost forum members ynguldynwho claims to compile future product information from leaks inside BMW, said Next M5 will be available in both sedan and Touring wagon body styles.
The introduced M5 Touring will once again put BMW into a rival of Audi RS6 and Mercedes-AMG E63 wagon.
The sedan, codenamed G90, will enter production in July 2024, with the G99 Touring following in November.
Both are said to use the V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain XM crossover coming soonwill produce 480kW of power and 800Nm of torque and boast a range of 80km.
The current M5 uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, with a capacity of 460kW and 750Nm.
The XM has a hybrid-specific M xDrive all-wheel drive system that includes an electronic rear differential lock in the rear transmission.
It also has an active anti-roll system, although it’s unclear if the lower-spec M5 requires the same technology.
New M5 models coming later core range 5 Seriesis expected to enter production in July 2023 with sedan cover and March 2024 with travel cover.
The Bimmerpost Users say the 5 Series will offer a range of internal combustion engines, plug-in hybrids and electric powertrains, the latter bearing the i5 name, while Level 3 autonomous driving technology will be introduced next year. 2024.

BMW offers only one M5 Touring in two different generations.
It produced 891 examples of the E34 generation wagon between 1992 and 1995, and most of it was hand-finished.
The M5 Touring disappeared until the wild, V10-powered E61 entered production. Only 1009 were produced and sold between 2007 and 2010.
In contrast, BMW has never sold an M3 Touring but will launch the first such model this year, with an Australian launch set for first quarter of 2023.
