Boxing Results: Arslanbek “Lion” Makhmudov beat Carlos Takam!

In the final seconds of the sixth round, a forehand just above Takam’s chin stunned Makhmudov. In the final seconds of the seventh round, Takam missed a right, ending with a rope as Makhmudov landed right on his head, dropping him as referee Griffin counted 8 points.

In the 1/8 round, Makhmudov was warned by referee Griffin for his rough behavior. In the ninth round, Takam went on to take down the much larger Makhmudov.

In the tenth and final round, a punch from Takam to Makhmodov’s chin within twenty seconds stopped his back. Takam seems to have exploited the Russians’ invincibility.

NABF middleweight champion Steven “Bang Bang” Butler, 31-3-1 (26), #160, of Montreal, CAN, stopped south of Mark “The Bazooka” DeLuca, 28-4 (16), #159, by Whitman, MASS, at 1:59 of the second of ten scheduled innings.

In the first round, Butler had the upper hand. Halfway through the second half, Butler dropped a pair of punches to the chin and knocked DeLuca out to be overruled by referee Steve St. Germain counted 8 points. As he rose, he was already shaking with his legs and referee Germain wisely ordered a stop.

Men’s featherweight Martine Vallieres Bisson, 5-2 (1), #124.5, of Ville Lemoyne, Quebec, CAN, lost to Emma “Valkyria” Gongora, 5-2 (0), #124.8, of Marseille, Bouches-du -Rhone , FR, on 6 × 2 loops.

In the second half, a right from Gongora caused Bisson to be counted eight penalties by referee Martin Forest. In the third round, after being warned three times for hitting the back of the head, Gongora lost one point.

In the fourth and fifth rounds, Gongora had a nosebleed but had two good rounds. In the sixth and final round, Gongora was able to control it, but it was doubtful that one more point was deducted by the referee Forest.

In the first round, Chabot landed with a snake to kill people, just one minute after referee Martin Forest counted eight. In the second half, after a minute, a combination on Chabot’s body beat Ramirez because the referee Forest counted eight penalties. Welter Hamza “Taz” Khabbaz, 5-0 (1), #146.6, of Montreal, Quebec, CAN, beat Jose “Tacho” Gutierrez Bolanos, 2-6 (0), #146.8, of Mexico City, over four rounds fight.

In the first two innings, both threw punches from the start, with Khabbaz knocking out the shorter Bolanos with mostly headers.

In the 3rd and 4th rounds, Bolanos kept moving forward, showing determination while receiving many punches to the chin, causing Khabbaz to knock him down. The referee is Albert Junior Padulo.
