Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Reply to Kevin Federline’s comment about her sons
On Saturday, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari shared social media messages that contradicted claims from Kevin Federline, Spears’ ex that her sons, Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, They no longer want to be associated with their mother. Federline told Daily mail that the kids chose not to attend her recent wedding to Asghari and they were uncomfortable with her social media presence.
“The guys decided they weren’t seeing her right now,” he said. “They haven’t seen her in a few months. They decided not to come to her wedding.”
Federline also claimed guys didn’t like her “nude pictures” on Instagram.
“I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe it’s just another way she tries to present herself,'” he said. “But that doesn’t take away from the reality of what it does to them. Really hard. I can’t imagine what it feels like as a teenager having to go to high school.”
In her Instagram Story, Spears said she was “sad” that Federline chose to talk about her publicly.
“I am saddened to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss my relationship with my children…” Spears wrote. “As we all know, raising teen boys is never easy for anyone.. I relate to the fact that the reason is based on my Instagram…it is LONG before Instagram… I gave them everything. Only one word: BEAUTIFUL… I’ll say it… My mother said to me ‘You should give them to their dad.’ I’m sharing this because I can. Have a nice day !!! “
Her husband, Asghari, also weighed in with a post on Instagram Stories, showing Federline lashing out because he can no longer benefit from the recently ended conservatorship over Spears.
Asghari wrote: “There is no merit to his claim about children being distanced from themselves and it is irresponsible to make that statement public. “Boys are very smart and will soon be 18 to make their own decisions and may eventually realize the ‘difficult’ part of having a father who hasn’t worked much in over 15 years as a role model. … Kevin’s gravy train coming to an end soon perhaps explains the timing of these hurtful statements… I don’t know him personally and there’s nothing against him but his choice. way of defaming my wife. for Jaimie also shows his approval at the time of conception.”
Spears later shared more of her thoughts in a post on her Instagram timeline.
She says that in her role as manager, she needs permission just to use Tylenol and that she should “get on with more WAAAY than topless on the beach!”
