After 11 days of action sports, the 2022 Commonwealth Games came to an end on 9 August 2022. A sparkling closing ceremony was held at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. Achanta Sharath Kamal of India and Nikhat Zareen were the flag bearers for the country at the closing ceremony. The Olympic flag was lowered and handed over to Victoria, Australia, which will host the next edition of the CWG in 2026. Apache Indian put on a powerful performance at the glittering ceremony.
