December PlayStation Plus lineup includes Godfall, Mortal Shell, and Lego DC Super-Villains
PlayStation announced the December lineup for PlayStation Plus, and as usual, it includes one PlayStation 5 game and two PlayStation 4 games.
The three increased titles to grab this month are Godfall: Challenger Edition, available as both PS5 and PS4 games, and Lego DC Super-Villains and Mortal Shell, both PS4 games. However, both Lego DC Super-Villains and Mortal Shell will be playable on PS5 thanks to backwards compatibility.
Last month, PlayStation Plus line includes six games: Knockout City, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, First Class Trouble, The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Until You Fall. The latter three are PSVR titles, and they’re still available alongside this month’s new PlayStation Plus lineup, and they’ll remain available for players to add to their libraries until January 3.
Returning to this month’s lineup, however, Godfall: Challenger Edition focuses on three unique modes, according to PlayStation: Lightbringer, Dreamstones, and Ascended Tower of Trials. All three modes are considered end-game content, but players will be “instantly armed with a host of deadly weapons and skill points, allowing you to team up with up to two players.” different in co-op.”
The Challenger Edition does not include the base game, nor does it include the newer Fire & Shadow campaign, but players can upgrade at any time to the Deluxe Edition to gain access to them. For more on Godfall, check out our thoughts on it in Game informant Godfall Reviews.
Lego DC Super-Villains is a unique Lego game set in the DC universe in which it features heroes you’ve come to know and love in other Lego DC games that focus on superheroes. DC villain, as the name implies. If you’ve played the Lego DC game before, you know what you’re into, except that you can expect to hear the Joker laugh more. The last free game in the December PlayStation Plus line is Mortal Shell, a game inspired by From Software’s Dark Souls series.

All three of these games will go live for PlayStation Plus subscribers to add to their libraries next Tuesday, December 7, and people will have until Monday, January 3, to get them. .
