Destiny 2 Xur Locations and Items, April 15-19

The weekly Exotic item dealer, Xur, hangs out in random locations around the world of Destiny. In Fate 2, he can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week you can find Xur in Towerstand in Hangar.

This week’s Xur inventory includes:

• Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Warlock helmet: 23 legendary shards
• Exotic Engram: 97 Legendary Shard (you can now buy the second with Exotic Cipher)

Since Easter and Witch QueenXur sells a random reel of both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale each week.

Here’s what he’s selling this weekend:

• Hawkmoon, Kinetic Cannon (Paracausal Shot): 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, Strange Code, Transcendent Shard
• Dead Man’s Tale, Kinetic scout rifle (Cranial Spike): 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, Exotic Cipher, Ascendant Shard

Since Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of old armor and weapons – similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. Usually, these items are hard to find and from the seasons of the year. Each item (whether armor or weapon) only costs 1,000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.

Xur’s Legendary Inventory this week includes:

• Hoosegow, an arc missile launcher
• Friction fire, Kinetic submachine gun
• The third axiom, the arc pulse rifle

Xur’s items drop at the same power level as your character’s.

Women’s coats

Women’s coats is a new Exotic from Fate 2: Forsakenand is a remake of Queenbreaker’s Bow Exotic from Life. It’s an Arc linear fusion rifle with a choice between two zoom types. The Sightseeing Marksman increased charging time, zoom and damage; the War reduce Charging Time and increase Handling. The strange privilege is Rifling Stringscauses the beams from the gun to blind the target.

Queenbreaker is very powerful in any PvP environment. Even with Battle Points, it can quickly kill a Guardian in a single shot from a distance. In PvE, this weapon is pretty decent, but falls far behind the Exotic heavy weapon food chain. You should pick up The Queenbreaker if you haven’t already.

Ophidia Spathe

The Ophidia Spathe The strange perk of the chest piece is Finger pull, which allows Hunters to throw two knives per charge. This Exotic is pretty neat and the knives that are always used are fun to use in Destiny. This piece is also quite unique, as it allows players to keep their two melee ability stacks while also granting them two instant charges on top up.

When combined with the subclass’s unique abilities, you can throw knives continuously. It’s a really fun style of play and definitely worth a try if you have a Hunter.

ADC / 0 . feedback barrier

Titan exotics is ACD/0 . feedback barrier. These gloves have weird perks Rage conductor, which causes melee kills to accumulate energy. When you are hit by a melee attack, you release that energy in an explosion. Feedback Fence got an upgrade earlier this year, making these gauntlets quite useful in Crucible. While there are plenty of other good Crucible options for Titans, don’t let these get completely out of your sight.

Skull of the Dire Ahamkara

The Skull of Dire Ahamkara is the Warlock helmet on offer this week. It’s a pretty good weirdo – despite being nerfed in Year 3 – and can be devastating when used properly. Its strange perks, Realistic Grandeurcauses you to take very low damage when using Nova Bomb – and your Nova Bomb kills will provide Super Energy instantly.

If you can correctly place your Nova Bomb in a large group of enemies – in PvE or even PvP – you will refund some Super Energy. If you enjoy playing Voidwalker (especially with the new Void 3.0 changes), this is a great helmet.

Strange cipher quest

Start from Beyond the light, Xur has a new quest for the Strange Cipher. Exotic Ciphers allow you to purchase old Exotics from the Historic Monuments kiosks to the Lost Lights in the tower. You will need these items and some other currency to get Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur wants you to complete 21 Strikes or win Crucible or Gambit matches. On completing quests, you’ll earn Exotic Ciphers to use however you like.
