Diablo Immortal to Sonic Origins: June 2022 Game on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X

Diablo Immortal, The Quarry, and Sonic Origins are all set to release in June 2022, with a host of other titles coming during the month. The summer break is coming to an end, but if you’re looking for a new title to tackle as the monsoon season hits, there’s a ton of genres to choose from. Football enthusiasts can pick up next week’s Mario Strikers: Battle League, a five-on-five game with a few “game-changing” tweaks. Fans of hack-and-slash action RPGs (RPGs) can look forward to Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes on Nintendo Switch.

Love third-person shooter RPG titles? Outriders: Worldslayer is coming to PC and consoles with three different storylines to choose from, plus a mysterious new endgame experience. Gamers who’ve loved Sonic games for years now can play them in high definition, unlimited lifetimes in Anniversary mode with Sonic Origins. For those interested in interactive horror games, The Quarry will let you decide the fate of nine teenage summer camp counselors with your decision – complete with an online co-op mode.

Diablo Immortal

When: June 2

Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase have evolved Diablo Immortal is a free to play game related to the Diablo series – best known in PC and console scenario.

Diablo Immortal, on the other hand, will primarily launch on smartphones, along with a beta release on PC. Immortal is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMO) that takes place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III.

Character classes consisting of six characters from the Diablo series will also be coming to Immortal. Players can choose Barbarian, Wizard, Monk, Necromancer, Demon Hunter, and Crusader when creating a character. The game also has a cross-save function.

Mario Strikers: Battle League

When: June 10
Where: Nintendo Switch

Published by Nintendo, Mario Strikers: Battle League is the third game in the Mario Strikers series. Mario Strikers: Battle League is a 5v5 soccer video game with minor changes to the official rules.

In the Battle League, the player can take on the opponent forcefully and also use specific items to gain an advantage over others. Items like banana peels can be placed on the field so opponents can slide up, creating a clear opportunity for you in front of goal.

Mario Strikers: Battle League follows the street football format with unlimited rules. The entire stadium fence is electrified, so players can knock their opponents into the fence and knock them over.

Quarry

When: June 10
Where: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S / X

On the last day of summer camp at Hackett’s Quarry, nine youth camp counselors decide to throw a party. This party quickly takes a turn for the worse and they must survive the night. How many advisors survive in the end is up to you in this interactive horror game.

Quarry there’s a plot branching from all your choices. In the end, all or none of the campers will survive the patch. There is an online multiplayer mode where seven other players can watch your game and vote on important decisions. It also comes with a couch co-op mode.

If you don’t want to play, you can even enjoy this cinematic experience like a movie. The developer of Supermassive Games, best known for the Until Dawn games, used modern face capture and film lighting to make The Quarry immersive. The cast includes famous Hollywood stars like David Arquette, Ariel Winter, Brenda Song, etc.

Sonic Origin

When: June 23
Where: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch

Enjoy classic Sonic titles in high definition with the Sonic Origins collection from Sega, including Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992), Sonic 3 & Knuckles (1993) and Sonic CD (1994) .

All of these games are playable in Anniversary mode, which introduces improved full-screen resolution and unlimited lifetimes. There is also a Classic mode, which restores the original resolution with giving you a limited number of lifetimes.

Sega added new opening and ending animations to tie all the games together, allowing you to play all four of them as a single story. Earn coins to unlock new in-game content and challenges. You can also play Special Stages through the in-game museum.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

When: June 24
Where: Nintendo Switch

Announced at the Nintendo Direct in February of this year, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is the second Warriors game in the Fire Emblem franchise, following the 2017 release of Fire Emblem Warriors on the new Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch. This upcoming hack-and-slash action RPG will offer gameplay similar to the Dynasty Warriors series.

Set in the continent of Fódlan, gamers will be offered three storylines, one for each house leader – Scarlet Blaze, Azure Gleam and Golden Wildfire. Along with a new character, Shez, gamers can also role-play the characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, including Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude.

Outriders: Worldslayer

When: June 30
Where: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Stadia

An online-only cooperative third-person shooter action role-playing game, Outriders: Worldslayer is an expansion to Square Enix’s original title. Outriders was released on multiple platforms last year.

Gamers will get acquainted with a new villain – Ereshkigal, the leader of the human insurgency. Since Worldslayer is set after the events of the Outriders, you’ll need to complete the original storyline first.

The upcoming expansion will add new locations and enemies to explore and battle, and also add a new Ascension progression system to make your heroes stronger than before. Outriders: Wordslayer will also feature a mysterious end-game experience called The Challenge of Tarya Gratar – we hope to learn more about it closer to its release date.
