Elden Ring Day One Patch includes balance adjustments, bug fixes, etc
Elden Ring is finally coming to consoles and PC tomorrow, and today, the day before its release, Bandai Namco and From Software released Note for Patch 1.02, which is basically the game’s daily patch.
In it you will find many fixes, bug fixes and more. If this one-day patch is like the previous ones, it’s likely that you won’t be able to play the game until this update is installed. If you are purchasing the game physically or have it preloaded with a digital purchase, this update will likely be pushed before you even start the game.
Here’s what to expect from Patch 1.02 in the Elden Ring:
- Improved player controls
- Add and adjust background music
- Text Adjustment
- Adjustment of balance
- NPC event fixes and adjustments
- Fixed frame rate drops under certain conditions
- Fixed text errors in some languages
- Fixed a bug that prevented Xbox wireless headsets from working properly
These patch notes also include a quick note on the game’s upcoming ray tracing implementation, citing that this support is planned after the game’s launch tomorrow and more detail. About it will be revealed in “future announcement”.
