Fire Emblem Engage gameplay trailer shows Engage .’s new attacks and skills
Fire Emblem Engagement will be out more than two months from now. So far, fans of turn-based tactical RPGs don’t have much to go on, other than gameplay September announcement trailerand a story setting from last week, it was revealed that heroes from previous games will join players in their new adventure.
That’s where Wednesday’s trailer comes in. This five-minute analysis explains, in terms of gameplay, what the Intelligent System is trying to do with the introduction of the iconic Ring. There are 12 of them Fire Emblem joins, each associated with a character somewhere in the series’ 33-year history. With an iconic ring, players gain a passive and persistent buff to their unit’s attributes. From there, they can also participate in symbols (hence the game’s title) which will grant weapons and special abilities in addition to the standard upgrade. Specific Concerns: Attack Joins strong, looks like a super move that can end an encounter, whether you’re ahead or behind.
