Fitness app Strava integrates Spotify to let users stream songs, podcasts while tracking workouts
Strava, an app that tracks workouts like cycling and running, has partnered with Spotify to allow users to listen to songs, podcasts, and audiobooks while they track their workouts.
The Spotify integration, effective Wednesday (April 12), allows Strava users to play, pause, resume, skip and browse their Spotify favorites from the recording screen on Strava.
This way, Strava users won’t need to switch between apps anymore and allow them to easily tap into their workouts.

The integration takes place in the context of music and fitness that have converged in recent years.

To mark the launch of the partnership, Strava will take over Spotify exercise list starting April 20.
Spotify’s fitness venture comes as the company looks to diversify its products.
The company recently launched the product ‘Clip’ feature that allows artists to add videos up to 30 seconds long to their artist profile.
Spotify also revealed a new design usury from TikTok.
Over a week ago, Spotify closed its Spotify Live live audio app just two years after its launch.
