Five Ratchet & Clank games coming to PlayStation Plus Premium this month
Sony and Insomniac have announced that they will be adding five Ratchet & Clank games to PlayStation Plus Premium as part of the series’ 20th Anniversary Celebrationas well as adding new cosmetics to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
The Ratchet & Clank series has had several games on PlayStation Plus Premium, such as the PlayStation 3 games A Crack in Time and Into the Nexus. Now, PS3 remakes of the original PlayStation 2 games, as well as Tools of Destruction, will also join the subscription service on November 15. New additions include:
- Ratchet & Clank
- Ratchet & Clank: Go Commando
- Ratchet & Clank: Elevate Arsenal
- Ratchet & Clank: Deadlock
- Ratchet & Clank Future: Tool of Destruction
Along with the PlayStation Plus Premium games, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is getting an update as part of the celebration, which includes five new armor sets for Ratchet and Rivets are based on different games in the series’ history.
The Ratchet & Clank franchise is one of PlayStation’s oldest franchises, which got its start on PlayStation 2 after Insomniac left the original Spyro the Dragon series. The series was then a mainstay of the PlayStation 3 generation with its Future ramifications. PlayStation 4 has only one game, one original game remake debuted with a movie in theaters.
In addition to Ratchet & Clank, Insomniac is working on his Spider-Man series, with Spider-Man 2 coming to PS5 next year.
