Ghostrunner: Story-Driven Project_Hel DLC Announced, Coming January
Next year, a new story-driven DLC is coming to the first-person cyberpunk action platformer, Ghostrunner, and it’s called Project_Hel.
IGN revealed the news yesterday after developer 505 Games introduced the “Ultimate DLC” last week. It turns out that the “Ultimate DLC” is Project_Hel, the upcoming story-driven DLC where players will take control of Hel, one of the game’s bosses. Project_Hel is coming in January, but before that, some players will get the chance to experience it in a private beta held ahead of the DLC’s launch.
Follow IGN. Project_Hel’s story will unfold over six new missions that task Hel with descending from the French Tower, an area featured heavily in the original game. Along with the new missions, Project_Hel will include new enemies, new bosses, and six new songs from Daniel Deluxe.
505 Told Games IGN that it was originally planned as a smaller DLC before becoming a “full Ghostrunner experience”. It will launch PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Amazon Luna on January 27. It will cost $14.99.
The studio also revealed that the new Holiday Pack will launch the game on December 7, and that it’s a free cosmetic pack that includes a holiday earner with matching gloves and more.
