Girls Aloud may reunite in four pieces after Sarah Harding’s death | News about Ant-Man & Art
Nadine Coyle is said to have suggested Girls Aloud might reunite as a quartet following Sarah Harding’s death.
Harding is dead On September 5 at the age of 39 after she revealed last August she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which has spread to other parts of her body.
She is one of the five members of Girls Aloud, along with Cheryl, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle.
The group produced five studio albums during their time together, including the hits Sound Of The Underground and The Promise.
Now, Coyle says Harding’s death has motivated her, hinting the band could reform into a quartet on the anniversary of Harding’s death.
“The past year or two has shown that life can change very quickly,” she told The Mirror.
“It taught me that life is too precious to leave everything for the future.
“I think of Girls Aloud as a quartet as bizarre. It’s still very raw.
“But it’s our 20th anniversary next year and it would be great for the fans if we do something about it.
“I’m so proud of everything we’ve achieved together as a band.”
A source close to the band told the newspaper they believe they will be reorganizing to celebrate Harding’s life and the band’s accomplishments.
They said: “The celebration will obviously be very different from what was originally planned.
“But when the time is right, the girls will do something to honor Sarah and all of their accomplishments together.”
