Sonu Sood is back at Sonu Da Dhabha with a Sunday special, guess what it is
Sonu Sood is back at “Sonu Da Dhabha” with another scrumptious dish. The actor shared a video on Instagram and captioned it as “Sunday Special” where he saw his followers getting acquainted with the new services at dhabha. In the clip, he says that the last time he introduced his followers to the tandoori roti. This time around, however, the tandoor menu has gotten bigger. Sonu said, “Last time jab aap aaye is like uss samay hamare paas bahut kam thi, iss baar is like bahut zyaada hai (Last time, limited quantity of rotis and naan, this time, we have much more on offer)”.
Sonu started by showing us what kind of bread they had – lachha paratha, butter naan, missi roti, lachha paratha cheese, simple naan and plain roti. He then proceeds to present the “gaddi” or cloth used to spread naan or roti dough into the tandoor (clay oven).

Then he demonstrated the naan production process. He took the naan dough and placed it on the “gaddi”, then gradually baked it into the oven while telling his followers they needed to be careful as it was very hot. Using a pair of skewers, known as “sariya” in Punjab, he proceeded to remove the puffed naan from the oven. “Itna badhiya naan aapne zindagi mein kabhi nahi traya hoga (such a wonderful thing, you will never get it in your life)”, he said. Finally, he spread a layer of butter on top of freshly baked naan.
Before concluding, he said, “Aam aadmi ke liye, gareeb aadmi ke liye, ekdum free hai, aur jo ameer aadmi hai, usko double paise dene padenge kyunki gareeb ki tabhi to roti chalegi na (Food is free for the common man, while the rich have to spend twice as much because that’s how we can feed the poor.) ”
